It was more than a year ago when I first thought that the 2016 presidential election would be very interesting, and it continues to look interesting. The polls have Hillary with a plurality, but she is at the limit of here favorability, and Trump is also at the limit of his favorability and bumping into his unfavorability numbers, so neither of them is likely to pick up many more votes.

I’m feeling bad right now.
I’ve been feeling down for a week or so, noticeably at least. Further internet searches, the kind of which I normally do during these times, suggests that I may actually have depression after all. Maybe I do. Maybe I don’t.

It has been alleged that more than two thirds of American adults are overweight or obese, and more than a third are obese. Whoever defines such things redefined those things about twenty years ago and, in an instant, doubled the obesity rate in the U.S., but putting that aside there are many Americans who could stand to drop a few pounds, and I am including myself. I had a stroke of genius today while sitting in a place where a wide variety of people wandered around.
