I went to a Vegetarian Society meeting... or I think they are called Veg KC or something like this,

for the first time...
and it was exactly as I remembered.

:D

But I am serious! :) It was! Now how could that be?

Anyway. It was nice. I enjoyed it, but it was kind of short. Actually I was on my way to the library (at UMKC)..

My hubby and I fought so we didn't have much of a Valentine's Day.

Maybe its overrated ... **scratches head**

Things will sort out, but too bad they came to a head on the 'day of love', lol.

I also woke up to a very sore throat and snuffy nose; a hummdinger of a cold awaits me, sheesh! When it rains it pours ...

Ok anyone who clicked thinking I had/have finally gone over to the dark ( or, depending on your view I guess, the right) mushy side sorry to disappoint you. Well not really seriously you people should know me better by now. And before you move on to read a note on this blog further to my prusit of brevity I have atemmpted to organise the rambling somewhat with footnotes, you have been warned.

I’m feeling extremely sentimental today. Bloody annoying, let me tell you. It probably has something to do with that fact that I’m reading “Jane Eyre”. Heaven knows I love this book. It’s absolutely blissful. I wouldn’t say I’m in love with this book. (Peter Pan has already stolen my heart) but, instead, just merely captivated. I feel like running up to someone and confessing my secret love for them… That is, if I had a secret love. But, almost thankfully, I don’t.
But onto subject beyond ...

I am not one of those people who are really bitter about valentines day, or anti-valentines day really, but I am also not that into it. My biggest problem is I am really not into the type of typical commercial gifts that are touted off as they romantic valentines day gifts that you should get.

First of all, how thoughtful is it really just to buy a bouquet of flowers or a box of chocolates for Valentines Day? It is a completely impersonal gift and everyone else is doing it, it is ...
