  1. I have a knife

So I totally embrassed myself in my class today, not that I really care but yeah. It may be hard to belive, being the great oh dismal, gloomy, dark and brooding one that it is not that difficult to set me off laughing. Particuarly things that are uninteionally funny or just randomness. When someone is trying to be funny it usually does not phase me, but I love subtle off beat humur.

In my class there was this guy sitting next to me, who was being kind of a dark all night. The class

  2. Roadside cafe on Friday

    by , 02-23-2009 at 11:27 PM (Silas Thorne's Journal)
    I sit here eating
    the smell of your soup:aroma
    of coriander, lentils, chickpeas
    and tomato
coupled with the grainy breath of just-cooked bread.
Besides, an open door to gentle rain
    caresses cars, poised
to gather the dust of the highway.

    the small and powerful madnesses
    of quips in conversation
    sparking with coffee and chocolate.

We stayed good friends for 10 years after that before a new boyfriend of hers wasn't real cool with our friendship. Then I got married and she was afraid ...

  4. She Would Not Die

    She Would Not Die

    There was a lady fair
    and three roses she had
    been given

    The first of virgin white
    upon her touch it punctured
    her maidenhood, she uttered
out a cry in a spill of blood

    The second was passion red
but how it flamed her skin
    pricked by its thorny touch
    how she bled

    The third flushed in pink
but as sweet aroma she inhaled
    it pierced through
