  2. Imitating Yeats (sort of)

by , 05-21-2009 at 03:37 PM (The Nation of the Glorious Turnip)
So I wrote down some stuff in my little notebook and it reminded me of yeats, probably because I used the line Cloth of heaven in there, but I liked it all the same.

What passes for those in the fulcrum of silent blindness?
As the devil wears the cloth of heaven madness will ascent the gates up high.

    by , 05-21-2009 at 12:32 AM (Silas Thorne's Journal)
Your lips part as I enter
    the dead end
dead, 'cos I'm wearing my raincoat,

and after shocks, ask me too,
    'how was it?'

I say '****ed if I remember.
When you dug your nails in

    storm, clouds and showers,
    flew right on past me,
    right through, and in.
    Blow, for a second wind.'

  5. All you need is Love

    All you need is Love,
And clean but slightly smell-lingering dogs,
One who may go crazy and attack you with pure glee,
and another who is a bit more shy, but sweeter and smarter,

And all the cimates of the world, and years
and years and years to travel them in,

and lungs to breathe the infinitely sweet air,

    and lungs to speak love,
and a mind to think love,
and a heart to feel love,
and eyes to see love, ...
