I would die like a shot, to know the earth would really be cleaned of all the people. It is the most beautiful and freeing thought. Then there would never be another foul humanity created, for universal defilement.

When I first started blogging about our journey to adoption I thought it would be nice to document the trials and tribulations of what a couple has to go through. I thought maybe if anyone out there is thinking about adopting this blog would give them some idea of what is involved. I never expected that some of you would go on this ride with my husband and me. What I mean is, some of you have been following our journey faithfully (you know who you are) and always gave me words of encouragement ...

For weeks now, I have been so happy. It's not that life is perfect, nor is it that perception is reality; but definitely perception has an impact. There's such a difference if you can see the good things, focus on them, and delight in them, and also bear resolutely the unpleasant. When I sleep I feel connected to something deeper and vaster, something boundless and beautiful.

Sometimes I sort of wonder, if it's possible just to tune out certain things, like the wars, politics. Yes ...

So I became a statistic today 28/05/2009. Now before anyone reads any further I am physically 100 % OK its only my soul and my purse that are hurt really.

I was robbed. Sort of. And I am going to get billed for it. Definitely.

At 4 o’clock this afternoon I decided to go return books to the library including the 1833 edition of Belinda by Maria Edgeworth in Two Volumes. And several heavy management and cost accounting books.

So I was walking. And someone ...

I got a B in my finite mathematics class. A B! I was averaging C throughout the course and expecting a D final grade because I only needed 38 points on the final to get a passing course grade. But...I got a B! I needed 85 points on the final to get that and I made 89!

Tell me that's not proof of God!
