  1. - She the east; He the west -

by , 05-30-2009 at 04:26 PM (The Cold Waiting Season)
She was the east; he was the west.
Both walked toward a different place.

This brought to her, pain and regret.
    Decided, she abandoned his sunset,
And walked east at her own pace.

With no clue and a little late,
    He turned to her
Wanting to make her east his place.

    But still
She was the east and he was the west.
There was no way to change
    Their predestinated place.

    Burning in love, ...

  2. Don't Get Too Excited

by , 05-29-2009 at 09:51 PM (The (not so) Inner Whinings of an Impatient Rambler)
This is nothing but a whiny rant, so feel free to ignore! I just have some stuff bothering me I need to complain about. And I know that in the grand scheme of things, it's nothing bad and other people are going through far worse things in their lives. Oh well. I don't want to inflict this on anyone around me so if you waste your time on this, it's not my fault!

So where to start. How about my premature aging? I feel like a friggin old lady. What the eff is wrong with my knees!?! Yes, ...

  3. A horse that eats Pepto Bismol

    by , 05-29-2009 at 08:47 PM (Nostalgia)
So, I'm here. Well, I've been here at my ranch since last Friday, and life is SOOOOO much better here than the real world. I've worked my *** into the ground since I got here, but I can't recall being this satisfied with my life in a while. I got here around eight thirty last Friday morning, ate breakfast at nine, and by nine fifteen Dickey had me raking leaves from around the rec hall and the lodge. We didn't do much with the herd until Sunday, but we'll get plenty of practice. We run them ...

  4. Hibernian Song

by , 05-29-2009 at 06:12 PM (Writings (of old and present) & Futuristics~)
    Romans never reached Ireland.
But they must have dreamed of it.

I imagine a Roman man on the shore of Wales,
with a local traitor, who would be telling him:
"There's a land beyond this sea, sire,
a land full of pots of gold, a land
of enchanted princesses, and green hills ..."

This Roman still looks at the sea,
and thinks with himself that mighty Rome
will someday conquer all the lands,
    and I might find, ...

  5. Remember

by , 05-29-2009 at 02:51 PM (Away with the Fairies- The Travel Diary of an Irish WebFairy)
So i've been rummaging around my room trying to sort some things out for my big move tomorrow and i came across a small browning slip of paper with a poem i scribbled on and dated 8/05/05.

So i thought i'd share it with you all.

    Remember

When you have time to think
Remember i am there for you.
And every time your eyes blink
Remember i am there for you.

I understand that times have faultered
    Friends may have ...
