1. The Inner Fields

by Sri Aurobindo

I posted this in a thread on the forums, too, but I just wanted to share it with everyone.

There is a brighter ether than this blue
Pretence of an enveloping heavenly vault,
Royaler investiture than this massed assault
Of emerald rapture pearled with tears of dew.
Immortal spaces of cerulean hue
Are in our reach and fields without this fault
Of drab brown earth and streams that never halt

2. Ganymede's Dilemma

If I would be a cupbearer free
I'd heed my mentor for all to see.
I would not impose on his reverie
But i would know his family
And charm them through fate's jamboree
That dealt them favoured rights very
Nigh the standing famed story
Who boasts that I serve only he.
And so retain my dignity
And model common decency,
I spy my speck of liberty

5. camping

by , 06-25-2009 at 01:24 PM (day in a life)
I hate camping but we are doing it this weekend. I just want to be at home with my bed, my books, my couch and my tv. but I'm gonna try to be positive and I bought a lot of tasty treats... I watch way to much tv, I regularly tell myself not to start watching some new series cause I seem to get addictive to brainless fun... I'm gonna bring a good book with me, I haven't read midsummer night's dream this year so it might be time for that...
I can't wait for my summer vacation only 6 workdays ...
