    I just came home from a bike ride with Spock and my friend and her dog. we are both exhausted and man it hurts to ride a bike, my legs are killing me. I haven't been on a bike for years and she has been bugging me to go with her for a while so I decided to go now and it's such a good exercise for Spock, I just need to get Sisco used to it too, don't know if I can take them both for a ride cause I was so nervous didn't have complete control all the time and I was like I had never been on a bike before. ...

  4. Feeling weird

    My kids are staying at my Mum's house this week. It's the first time they've ever stayed away from home. Last night we didn't know what to do with ourselves. The house is too quiet.

    I'm sure I'm supposed to be hopping around for joy and using the opportunity to do all those things you complain about not being able to do because of the kids. Instead, I feel rootless and a little bit bereft. And there's nothing I want to do, nothing at all. My mind is totally blank.

  5. Speak No Evil

    I recently completed the latest in my series of "nude icons". The painting is mixed media (acrylic, oil, pastel, gold leaf on paper) and measures 43 x 80". The tentative title is Speak No Evil... although my wife also suggested Lilith.
