  1. Tomorrow is less than a day away.

    It's finally here. I'm leaving for PHC TOMORROW!! My flight is at 5:40 A.M., which means we have to leave the house around 3. I'm all packed, except for a bit of shuffling, and my parents have loaded me with food and snacks because of course I'm going to starve in 18 hours. My goodbyes have been said to my church family and my extended family...

    Occasionally my husband and I get to reminiscing about the good old days, about childhood and the things we experienced which our children will not, like the pop van, and the rag and bone man, the milkman who delivered to your doorstep. Now, there is a generation (almost) between my husband and I and some of the things he remembers I don't (like the coal van!) but in general there are commonalities in our childhoods which our children definitely don't share.     Yes! I am back, and as mad, bad and dark as ever

    First of all for those waiting in suspense, I have the misfortunate to report that I have not had any further monster encounters, but the water level was low this year because of drought. But I did have one curious experience. One night I was having trouble sleeping and there were all sorts of weird noises going on at night. It was just like being home in one regard.     I am going to meet the guidance counsellor next week to try and work things out for school. maybe I need to take classes in two different schools witch is OK because another school has two English classes I want to take, one is only about Tolkien and the other one about science fiction, very interesting. I also want to take to classes in Icelandic lit. but I also have to take some science classes and I hate that, but my best friend is good at it so she can help me with that.
