I haven't been posting poetry on the forum, or in my blog for a while. Following a talk from a poetry publisher it seems that any kind of publication, even including that on a writing forum, can disqualify you from submitting poetry for publication in a magazine. It's official, I'm getting old. Yesterday I bought a Paul Simon CD and I've been whistling away to 'Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes' ever since. It's a bad sign. Dementia will follow. I decided to finally start re-writing a story I wrote (or started to write) years ago about a serial killer, think it will just be a short story but we'll see were it leads me. I want it to take place in late 1800 or early 1900 but I don't know all that much about life in these times so maybe I wont focus on a time frame. I want to explain things from the killers and the detectives perspective but I have never written a story like that so I don't know maybe I should read some books like that to ...
Went to the travel agents today and I've booked my flights to Canada for January! Were reasonably priced too! Unfortunately i have to fly via Heatrow. I'm not a fan of heatrow and i'm flying in and out of two terminals i've never been in, one and three.
