    Dangerous Ground

    Love is dangerous
    like a solider's heart,
    passion dripping
    from the hunter's eyes
    beneath the rain
    to hide his tears.

    Trudging through the trenches
    a muddy soul
    where courage and fear hide
    notions of good and evil die.

    Compassion cuts into bone
    where pain haunts
    reflected memories
    but there comes
    the adrenalin rush.

    Does it seem that at the traffic light?
    When it’s flashing tempo increases,
    That a light is all that is blinking
    As I sit and watch in seat
    With hands on wheel, as cars from behind
    Bleep their noses at me

    To hold your open palm out
    As you walk down the street with your head down
    To watch gaps form in your mouth

  4. eating shoulder straps

    An old lady at work said the other day with a very concerned voice that the man had been eating his shoulder straps, I just thought it was funny but she thought it was terrible. I can't say I hate my job, cause I don't, I just don't want to be working there 20 years from now like so many of the women there. You get no respect the people you are there to help can be so rude or want to hurt you, when it comes to a certain point in Alzheimer patients violence is common. Some men don't need Alzheimer's ...

    I am an avid fisherman. Almost every morning finds me on the lakeshore somewhere. I have a choice between several fine lakes in the area, so there is no chance of me being bored.
