    Structuring Beauty
    On a two-dimensional canvas.
    Touching up details
    With sham lights,
    So that noone can tell,
To come up with a theme.
    Raid other pieces
    For a background
    A foreground
    A colour scheme
But really work it this time.
The subject lives in the art
From the time it's placed there

    Right around the edges,
    Moonglow
    Softens
    The effect of
    Radiating colours,
    A painter by afternoon
    And by night,
    Who captured the
    Sultriness of
The daylight,Giving notice to the seasons
That there is no such thing as change,
    Only intensity of succession
    Of one day
    After another.
    Iridescence shines
    Off the garden stones
    And shimmers the green leaves

  5. A poem I wrote at lunch today.

I don't really like it that much but I felt like posting it

    Birds and Fast Food

In a food court of downtown Montreal,
I sit watching little birds fly about.
Why can I not help but look at you all
flying here and there, can you not get out?
Do you remember what the sky was like,
before this prison of crumbling concrete
and quickly snatched French fries, what it was like
before the sky was nothing but a neat
    portrait ...
