  1. Taxi Fare Shirker and the Tail of the Three Rottweiler Dogs

by , 01-09-2018 at 05:53 PM (Kiz_Paws Bag Of Trix)
    It was a warm evening.

A young man hailed a taxi and proceeded to have the taxi take him to several places, to get his shopping done. After a while, he had a rather large fare accumulated.

Before the taxi driver could do anything, the young man jumped out of the taxi at a stop light and proceeded to sprint through various properties, to get away.

The taxi driver decided that he was going to give chase -- there was a huge fare at stake!

  2. Why Trees?

by , 01-08-2018 at 12:47 AM (Barmy Blue's Bland Blog)
    Why not trees? They’re lovely.
We’ve just put Stanley out and it makes me sad.
I’ll never understand why people have fake Christmas trees. Sure they’re convenient and don’t make a mess but is that all? They can come in all sorts of colours and styles. But how can that compare to the beauty of a real tree? Even a tiny shrub has so much more beauty than plastic crap.

I know and accept that real trees have their issues.
You need to get a quality tree from a quality ...

I must admit I quite enjoyed doing my advent blog again and I figured it’d be nice to wrap up the year with another.

I usually get depressed around this time. Either still depressed from Christmas, after Christmas or thinking about the past year and the oncoming new one depresses me. But at the moment I’m feeling pretty okay. Sort of not happy and not sad but comfortable.

    So. Predictions for the year

  5. Reading, a bit

by , 12-30-2017 at 12:40 PM (day in a life)
Well I didn't get any books for Christmas, now that is rare. Except the last santa always gives me a present too so he got me 'The Hunting of the Snark' I had wanted to read it for a while and he (I) found a pretty copy with pictures. If the comment last santa doesn't make sense that is because here on the ice we have 13 of them and they come one each night starting 13 days before Christmas and the last one leaves gifts on the morning of the 24th, we celebrate on that day. Anyway he got me this ...
