listening to Aimee Mann is sometimes like she is tapped into my head and is stealing my thoughts. I am currently reading Rebecca, and like many of my books my copy is a used copy which I picked up somewhere, I cannot remember now just what book store or sale I got it from, but I just happened to notice on the back cover it says: For copyright reasons this edition is not for sale in the U.S.A. And then under that it has the list of different countries, which I presume are the places it was sold, as it has a price after each one of them: United Kingdom ...

I watched an interesting programme on Friday night - The Monarchy, this one being about william the Conqueror's invasion of England. William was a Norman, but the Normans were so called as they had been granted lands in Northern France to stop them attacking French villages. They were originally Vikings.
