    If God is good and I have no reason to believe otherwise He provides a wide variety of people that attend worship services with a faithfulness that would put to shame daily newspapers.

    Of particular note is that linchpin of every church--the proverbial little old lady. Without their devotion to the Lord and their strength in prayer many a church would be lacking a witness to love and spiritualness and would waste away into a slow spiral downward into coldheartedness and apathy. ...

  2. 8 days a week

    I am taking 9 shift in 8 days straight, now I have for days left and 5 shifts... kinda tired cause I study all night and when ever I have a moment. Tomorrow my son is going to his dad's house for the weekend so I took an extra shift on saturday evening. I feel like I could go crazy with school, there is so much work to do! I'm getting a long ok but it takes hard work.

  3. Narrowly Avioded Tragedy

    As many of you already know, I do not drive, and thus I only have a stranded Id card, and because I do not go out, don't really drink or do anything all that exciting, I hardly every actually use my ID card for anything so it has been expired now for a couple of years, because I never wanted to go through the hassle of going to DMV to renew it because it never seemed necessary so I always figured that I would eventually sometime get around to doing it.

    Sigh.
    Step outside and blow a raspberry
    under my umbrella.
    Trudge all the way to Founders'
    and shake myself like a dog because
    my umbrella's too cheap.
    Sit in class, miffed at needing artificial light at 12:20 PM.
    Class over. Outside, and sigh again.

    Matthew Henry's Commentary to the Bible is going very very slowly this seocnd go-round. My stted desire to read only when I'm feeling spiritual is not working out well. Perhaps I should try reading it when I desire chocolate or marriage benefits.

    For grins I tried reading online here. Annoyed Edgar Wallace's Four Just Men isn't posted as all the pulp historians refer to it when discussing the evolution of detective fiction.
