So here I am sitting in the Portland Oregon airport without (to my relief) the responsibility of not geting scratches on a new rental car and contemplating the 14 miles or so journey to our hotel where hopefully there are no more unexpected surprises awaiting. Atlanta airport. The busiest in the United States. I have never liked it having previously been entertained there back in the 1980s and this trip would do little to change my view.
