  1. More books for me

    I got to visit a couple of my used book stores today and get rid of a bunch of old books, and trade them in for new books.

    So here is what I got this time around:

  2. Fun at the movies

    I have had on occasion some interesting movie experiences in regards to the other people in the theater, but today I think was a first. I went to see the movie Priest, which was awesome for the kind of movie it was, based off a graphic novel, with vampires and lots of wicked cool fighting scenes and I love Paul Bettany and I try to go to the earliest showing of the day because that means less people.   4. Quitting a book is like breaking off a bad realationship

    This is an experience I am sure all of us have dealt with, for some it is a painful struggle and for others it may come more naturally and easily, but almost all of us have been there the moment when we realize the time has come to leave off a book unfinished.

    Notes from the lambing shed. About a 2 weeks ago.

    PEN 1. Lambed last night. Both doing well, only brought in as a precaution, the lamb was smallish and it was cold.

    PEN 2. Fostering on. Ewe lost its own lamb to Watery Mouth (E-coli infection) within hours of its birth, in spite of precautionary antibiotic.
