  1. I've been meaning to post about oil..

That is, gasoline.. I don't have a car, and 90% of the time I walk or ride a bike.. and almost every time I do it strikes me how many people are driving cars, and how much fuel it is using.

It doesn't strike me because it's something I would naturally think about a lot, but because it is very striking. What's the necessity for driving all over the place? It's my firm belief that an impressive majority of the actual driving people do is mostly unnecessary. And if anyone can claim ...

  2. Little Boy's Baseball Dream

Ok, I've had a tough day. I found out my wife's car needs $2400 in repairs to pass inspection. It was hard to believe it amounted to that much, but yeah, when you added up all the various sensors that went bad (why the hell do we have these computerized engines?), all four brakes needed to be redone, and throw in a tune up, and urrgh. NOTE: This list is definitive ...

Their calling echoes above the court
As if the long dirge, raises from the church
These men and women, people with black and white hair
Who are busy for a living again
Drive away dreams from those taking a nap

Another howling joins the procession of the shouter
With a huge roaring, the plane flies over the sky
Like the bang of firecrackers suddenly burst before the funeral
Announce the dead will be sent to their rest
