    I am a faithful daily reader of Modblog on www.bme.com. Always have been (more so when Shannon was still writing) always will be.     Red ripe apples hang
    and sometimes fall from my tree -
    grubs have taken theirs,


    wind blows, leaves tumble
    the heat of summer fading -

    I wake early these days
    And often miss the ends of dreams.

  4. Wisdom & Time (haiku chain)



    Warm, long, bright evenings
    seem so timeless in our youth -
    but summer will end.

    Time passes for us,
    hopefully we get wiser -
    well before winter.

    And if we learn well
    perhaps next year's nascent spring -
    will bring a rebirth.

  5. Breaking News! (There is nothing of any importance in this Blog post)

    I really hate "breaking news" Because it interrupts what you are watching and than most of the time you have to listen to some announcer guy just babbling for like an hour. If something noteworthy does happen it is fine to pop in and be like hey this just happened, but than they can just go back to what was originally on and talk about whatever it was later when they acutally have more information about it.

    I was watching TV when the new broke in to announce some fire somewhere
