I was just listening to old Jeff Lynne songs from Armchair Theatre, and thinking he's a musical genius, and this link came up. I think I'd seen it before, but didn't listen to it much, wanting to just hear the original version. But maybe because I'd been reading about the Beatles earlier, I knew I had to listen to it, and I found it to be incredibly moving. I'm sure I'm practically alone in this, but I thought I'd share.

So, I'll not be online much until next week.

I've written 7 of the over 30 pages I'll have to write over the next few days. Several smaller essays, a research paper, and others..

I have 13 chapters from various classes to read, from a terribly dry American Government textbook to novels, to the Bible.

I have a test in Intro to Biblical Lit to study for.

All before Friday.




And I'm working 3 jobs.

I don't really know why people feel like they need to set everyone up with someone. I have been told it is because they are happy and they want me to be happy too, but I am happy and I may be a bit hung up on thinking about relationships and what I want in mine but that is just my mind doing overtime nothing serious. now my big brother is probably my best friend and he tells me exactly what I need to hear and he thinks I should go out more. It's a bit of a mouthful isn't it? Something on a TV programme this morning got me thinking about this. Sony have just (?) released a personal video device which is a kind of visor that you wear and which you can watch movies on, or TV. I wonder why anyone would want this. And it got me to thinking about the way technology, and perhaps the desire to increase profits, seems to be pushing us down an increasingly individualistic route, as opposed to encouraging us to share experiences.

I am not a big boxing fan, but I do remember the great Frazier, Ali, Foreman fights of the early and mid seventies. Well, to be clear, I remember of them. I don’t think any were televised for free. But it was impossible at the time in the US if you remotely followed sports to not be caught up in them.
