I was sitting on my computer last night (and as some of you may recall the battery on my laptop had permanently died and I haven't got around to replacing it yet) so the computer has to be plugged in to use, but the plug is kind of touchy so it can easily get knocked loose. I was on the couch and when I moved to change positions the plug came loose and I lost power, now this is not the first time this has happened, and usually it is no big deal.
