Now my boy has been with his dad for a week. My ex got married last Saturday and is on a small honeymoon in the country and my boy is with his grandma. I called her today to see how things are going and how the wedding was and she told me he looked so good in his new suit. He was so excited about the suit, it is a 3 piece. Anyway he is doing great and I think I am doing good.

I have a long time been baffled by the mentality of the type of people that get the idea to attempt to engage you in conversations while standing in line at the grocery store, or other such things. This presumption they have that I have any interest in their thoughts and opinions, or want to here about their life. While I am granted more anti-social than the average person, I just cannot wrap my mind around what compels people to feel that need.

I’ve got an ambitious summer reading planned and thought I’d share. For some reason hearing what others are reading gives me some sort of pleasure. It satisfies an impulse of curiosity. I’m not a prying person, nor a nosy person, but when sitting by someone who is reading, say on an airplane, I can’t help to try and peek over and spy on the title of the book. Does that make me a peeping Tom? .

Yuki's being pampered. She's such a good girl.

Mum took her in yesterday. There were no other animals. I'm told she wanted to chase the vet's cat. When it was time for her to go in mum had to drag her in. We've been wondering about her ears and mouth lately. She was worried Yui might have got grass seeds in her ear the night before and she's been rubbing her face on the carpet a lot lately. We can't see anything there but we think it's just some whiskers growing out.

So. Get this. The redundancy letter arrived today. Kind of redundant in itself since the HR peon who's been dealing with her called her to confirm it yesterday. She has to sign a form and send it back to receive her redundancy pay. First off. Although addressed to her the letter actually begins with "Dear Neil". I know these things are always done with a template but to get the name wrong ...
