  1. Irritated by some cough-good-cough writers

    I can't stand it anymore.

Finished 4 stories by different authors in a row and they were all bad, I'm so disturbed right now.

Finished "The Last Werewolf" by Glen Duncan

It was great, the writer does have a forte in mental thoughts, he allows you to think from a different angle quite nicely... until you reach 3/4 of the book and realize that nothing will be solved and the entire book was just one big massive load of rubbish. ...

  2. wedding and a brief encounter of the shy kind

by , 07-16-2012 at 04:00 PM (day in a life)
Well I was at a wedding last weekend and all that did was reaffirm my thoughts on weddings. They are so lame and just crazy. Why spend all that money on a party when you can do it without all the fuzz. There were 12 speeches from friends and family and most of them were made to make you laugh but some to cry and man did the ladies cry. Why oh why, cry and cry.

Talk about old guys who rock! I guess most people know I’m a big Rolling Stones fan. If you don’t, I am. They really are the greatest rock and roll band ever. Today, July 12th 2012 marks the fiftieth anniversary of their first show. You can read about in The Guardian:

A sober-suited crowd of about 80 men and 30 women were on hand to witness the Rolling Stones' first gig. There was a taste among both sexes for shapeless, utility-style clothes, stout shoes and goofy square glasses.

  5. Matthew's First Day at School

I know I owe an update on Matthew. It’s been a while and some have been asking and a bit has happened since then, mostly Matthew progressing into his terrible twos. This blog will not bring you up to date. I’ll have to save that for another time. But it documents an important day, Matthew’s first day at school.

A two year old in school? Well, this is pre-pre-school. Yeah they have such a thing. Apparently it’s common now. My wife had started looking for one she liked ...
