  1. One of my neighbors is a Pimp apperantly.....

As many of you know, I attempt to live in isolation as much as possible and have little interest in knowing much of anything about my neighbors. As long as nothing they are doing interferes with me, then I mind my own business and do not worry about who they are or what they are doing. But at times it is unavoidable that I come by more information then I need or want about them.

I was sitting on the front lawn today with two of my cats. I wanted to go out to see the kitten and see ...

  2. A note from Janine

Hi everyone. Thanks for all of your heartfelt concern. I turned the computer off during the storm and have been glued to the tv set ever since - the images are stunning. Thankfully I am safe and sound and so is the rest of my family; we didn't even get a drop of water in the house - basements inclued - and the power did not go off. Leaving aside my romantic misadventures in recent days, I've enjoyed the experience of meeting lots of new people through my MA cohort. As a Montreal local, I get to play the role of guide quite often, ...

  5. Doom and Gloom

Hey I just noticed in the new format, one can embed videos. Let me be the first blogger to do so.

As you may have heard, The Rolling Stones are in their 50th anniversary as a band and are going to have a mini celebration tour. So far two sites with two dates each are scheduled: The O2 Arena in London at the end of November (25th and 29th) and the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ in December (12th and 15th). As some may know, I am a huge Rolling Stones fan, and December 15th is ...
