  1. The Perception of Time

by , 12-23-2012 at 03:22 PM (Memories of the 28th Century)
I just finished reading Timequake by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr., and I was struck by the attitude that he had toward time. Then I remembered that my mother had a similar attitude, and so do many of the people that I have encountered. That attitude is that they felt that they were very old, and that things in their lives happened a long, long time ago. I previously had the impression that people developed a longer view of things as they matured. It makes sense that little children would think that anything ...

  2. My Pagan Babies

by , 12-22-2012 at 06:13 AM (day in a life)
I haven't checked in in a while now. one or two posts last week but nothing else in a long time. Time just seems to escape me these days. My exams are over so I have a bit more time now but still the hours go by faster than they used to.

School was very busy this semester but I think it will be even harder after new years... I am taking more classes than I need to because there are so many interesting courses and one of the mandatory ones has 5 books about 7-900 pages each on icelandic ...

  5. Day 21

You know. Ever since the year 2000 came around I've been getting pretty sick of the whole "the world's going to end" stuff. It's like every year someone has a theory or indisputable evidence that something's going to happen. It's pretty depressing. Not THAT depressing but a little depressing.

So. Today I got a cracker again and Yuki got a red twisty bone.

I was thinking of doing some baking today.

    Well...

We heard the mice in ...
