  1. Stones Play "Emotional Rescue" Live

The big news from the new Rolling Stones tour is that they have included the song "Emotional Rescue" into their set list. You may wonder why that is such big news, especially since the song reached number three on the US charts when it came out as a single back in 1980. It’s certainly not every song that breaks the top ten. The album, also called “Emotional Rescue” broke to number one. Not bad for an album where the band doesn’t follow it up with a tour. I remember that summer it came ...

  2. Apathy and Disgrace

by , 05-09-2013 at 03:20 PM (The (not so) Inner Whinings of an Impatient Rambler)
What change a year can bring. Leaving behind the failure, frailty, and disgrace. Change typically frightens me beyond reason, yet this time I feel good about it. A foreign experience. Not one change, but many. I have the out, I have the in, I have the means. Everything I want, I can have. There is, of course, one problem (Only one?! How unusually optimistic).

Peace be on you. Rise in family breakups, drinking and gambling related issues, spending hours in watching late night lewd movies etc are some of modern day losses. From religious point of view, these things are due to weakness in the spiritual state which is called Taqwa in the Holy Quran. Taqwa is summarised as the state when Unity of God is believed, precedence is given to pleasure of God, believing God as source of all powers, paying rights of God and rights of His creation for the sake of His ...

  5. Economics After the End

by , 05-02-2013 at 02:46 PM (Memories of the 28th Century)
When the Great Pandemic will eliminate 80% of the population the demand for goods and services will be reduced at the same rateand that will have a proportional effect on the economy. The drop in demand will result in an immediate drop in prices of everything that is bought and sold. Prices of food and other perishable goods will drop greatly, but the prices will rebound, because supplies will need to be replenished regularly, but durable goods do not need frequent replacement. Production machinery ...
