    I really really hate fireworks. Bloody things make me want to curl up in a corner and take cover. Not sure if its precicsley a phobia, well you cant have a phobia without a philic and can anyone like them that much?
    so nightmares all night .....bloody guyfawks night.... why do we set fire works off though it makes no sense I thought the whole point was to celebrate his excution for attempting to blow up the house of lords and the king ?

    Well, clearly it is. A blog I mean. So why the title?

    I am not, as you may have assumed, simply trying to be clever. In reality, I have a pathological and completely irrational hatred of the terms 'blog', 'blogger', 'blogging', 'blogged' and 'blogginess', and I won't be mentioning them again. Thank you.

    Have we as a world become incapable of dealing with death? Or is the media to blame?

    Everyone knows that "the only certainties in Life are death and taxes" so why are we always so distraught when it happens. I can understand it if it is someone you know, and the emotion of never seeing them again gets too much. Or the sympathy felt when a tragic situation like Dunblane occurs.

    However, the public outpourings of grief for public figures who die is beyond me. ...
