Working the 4-12 tonight. Dave is my partner. Been here 2.5 hrs and cleared 26 calls as of 6:31 pm.

Dan stopped by and we talked awhile--will probably leave Monday. Looking and sounding well.

Called Steve B. in Baltimore and we chatted. Family doing well and even Kim said hi over the phone. Always knew I was her favorite.

Visited Ruth on way to work and Meijers was quite busy. Dan said he'ld see her at the house.

Ah, the joys of getting up early, there are none .

Dad came and woke me up by stabbing me in the face with my stuffed fox (Who fills in for my cat sometimes for reasons I'd rather not mention now) and shining my torch in my eyes.
Eventually we got to Uncle Timmy's only to find that he wasn't even out of bed .

There are now more presents under the tree than normal for Christmas Eve because Dad normally comes on Christmas Day.

Ah, Christmas Eve is finally upon us. Just two short years ago I would be anxious as a freshman on his first day of school. But now, sadly, that is gone, and all I look forward to is this much needed releif from the oppressvie heat...

Brandy and I exchanged presents at work. Gave her a Talking Elmo figure whose head flips back and his various catch phrases are played. She gave me a shirt with the original Marvel super-team Avengers laminated on it.

Work went well. Dave was subbing on the weekend to make some money while he completes his truck driving class. Says he's doing well. His second baby will be born mid-June about the time John and Julie have theirs.

Ah, Jaws is on. After a day of searching yesterday I was relieved to find the remote control today . But we've lost it again .
Tom came today. We nearly erupted into a blazing row but I wasn't in the mood to argue, I felt depressed .
I still have to wrap Dad's present. He's coming at 7:30ish am to take me to Uncle Timmy's. We normally go on Christmas day but dad's decided to have the visit tomorrow instead.
