    Elaine called me at work to say that the decision was made with her/Bob/doctors and Mom to have her stay in the Nursing Home. Elaine will be doing the paperwork and the housecleaning. She says Mom actually sounds happy and that is amazing to me. At my request as a momento I only wanted the barometer from the kitchen--Elaine can have the rest to divvy up. This is with Mom's blessing as she'll just have a few odds and ends and a small pension--about $50 a month. May be able to send her a little ...

    First day back at school. What a fun day it's been (Heavy sarcasm).
    Seeing as I had a bit more time I decided to have scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast. Mum bought this microwavable bacon that was vacuum sealed. It was actually rather good. The eggs were a bit runny but I didn't mind (For once).
    It turns out that certain items of my clothing weren't dry after all (Under garments, I shall say no more), so I had to wear an old one instead that was a size smaller.
