Ah. What a lovely morning (Heavy on the sarcasm).
I was woken this morning by an awful noise (Most likely a fox screaming). The fact that it was able to enter the dream I was having (Which I can't remember now) and wake me up was kind of eerie. But that's what can happen when your room has a view of the garden and about 5 others (despite the double glazing).
But that wasn't all. Today I met with the delightful Ms Oldbat (You can practically see the sarcasm oozing out of that

  2. At what price?

by , 01-08-2007 at 01:41 PM (Shannanigan's Search for More...)
I stand on the balcony of the house overlooking Megan's Bay, a beautiful beach that I may, possibly, overlook for every morning of the rest of my life. Below me, the bush has been nearly dominated by the machetes of my boyfriend and his father; the ground is visible and the hillside is an expanse of thin tree stumps, save for the palm trees that were spared. by , 01-08-2007 at 03:20 AM (Sci Fi Story)
This week has been extremely cold with temperatures somewhere around -40F with windchills well below that. To give you an idea what thats like...I was drinking coffee outside and the steam was creating ice crystals all around the rim, especially the downwind lip of the mug. The upside is that your coffee is never too hot.

Getting approximately 12 more minutes of sunlight every day. Joy

  5. The future?

I want a rocket car! I remember years ago reading little articles in schoolbooks about the future., and it seems to me that everybody was tooling around in these rocket cars, and the date always seemed to be 1998 in those pictures or 2002. Well, folks it is now 2007, the future is NOW and still....I am not driving a rocket.

Oh well, my car gets 35 miles per gallon.
