Why is the sound of a rooster crowing so grating and disgusting? Perhaps it's just me...maybe to others the sound is refreshing, or humorous, or makes them feel like they're out in the country and one with nature. To me, it's just annoying. Chris' grandmother got a few chickens and a rooster so that she wouldn't have to buy eggs anymore, but the dang rooster doesn't stop crowing after sunrise! It starts at about 4 am, but I never hear it, thank God...but then I'm getting ready to ...
I have definitely bit off more then I can spit out. Oh for the simpler times of Ben Casey and Dr. Kildare (created by Max Brand by the way) or even Greg House proclaiming "It's not lupis." I'm looking at Ruth's flash cards of Barron's Anatomy--264 full-color and if I can successfully pronounce more then 30 of them I'm smarter then I think. For example: Articulations-hinge joint--#11--The Ulna--(Uma Thurman jokes come to mind) the only thing I know about ...
Well peace is restored in casa mtpspur. The long suffering wife is starting to share more about her classes with me. Dan had given her a Waldens Book card worth $30 for Christmas and she wanted to buy Grey's Anatomy but they did not have a copy. She bought some anatomy booklets and flash cards and we can have fun mispronouncing Latin names of fun body parts. To those that may worry about harmony in the household it is rare we quibble beyond a day. The Bible states "Let not the sun go down ...

At the moment I’m sitting in IT and I want to check a bit of work but the school system is really slow at the moment and Word has frozen (well, that document anyway) and it won’t even close. So I figured I’d add a little update while I wait for it to sort itself out. It’s extremely windy over here. Dad had the idea that school might close earlier because of it (Though I don’t see why) when he dropped in this morning, he also though the buses might be ...
Due to difficulties in my jack breaking in an attempt to hoist the long suffering spouse off the computer chair, this unhappy camper gave up and went to bed last night pouting and sulking--which used to get me candy bars and Batman comics -- now it just gets me Onyx hogging the covers. Well at least Bluebiird gets a shot at catching me on entries--we have never denied our shallowness and veniality--it just makes God's miracles that much cooler when he softens the heart--yes there ...
