  1. One Year Anniversary

    It’s my one-year anniversary today. One year ago I was working in New Zealand in the city of New Plymouth (North Island). I had had some time to kill over the weekend, so although it was a rainy overcast day I decided to go for a drive along the coast. I drove cautiously on the narrow highway heading north, stopping almost 200 km into my drive. I saw a beach sign and drove quite a ways off of the highway to find it.

    There was no parking lot, so I pulled up a rutted hillside ...

    Actually, there is a less-known holiday celebrated today as well. For those of you who have ALSO spent their day playing Kingdom Hearts and shoveling the driveway - Happy Singles-Awareness Day!!!

    Today I had a lecture on Accesibikty on the internet and they went into things like screen readers and eltronic braille and voice recognition digital mouses etc. Of course what itreseted me as me are screen readers. IS the litnet accessible to everyone? I seem to rembersomepeople here use screen readers. Because I suppose this might be a bit of exploiting technologies but after all its called Unversal access for a reason. I want a screen reader and voice recognition because then Id be able well ...
