    Tom: Couple of things I wanna ask.

    1) Do you mind if I skip out of Hell? It's starting to get dull, or do you
    want to add this painting of yours first?
    (Regarding current email plot)

    2) Do you want me to come over next Saturday? Seeing as your b-day is next
    Thursday. I need to know today so I can arrange things accordingly

    Normally when people are asked to write short stories they rush out and buy as many short story anthologies as possible and assume reading all the short stories ever written (impossible) will enable them to write better.

    Naturally, the more you read the better you will write. But it also helps if you know about the recipe behind the writing. You wouldn't perform a surgery without knowin the different parts of the human body, so why expect

    A rather shameful attempt at a villanelle but believe me its not easy at all! I was listenting to 'Asleep' by The Smiths as I wrote this yesterday evening.

    Below is just a funny poem (if you can call it that) that I wrote for my friend I J.P. (who isnt on here!) when he cut his long hair!

    A poem on the loss of my dear friend's hair

    There was once a tall boy called Jack Prescott
    who came from far away with a mascot-
    it was his hair, long thick and mousey brown
    that brought him luck like the man with a crown.
