  1. frown

Do you ever just go along, thinking you are being helpful and then have somebody just slap you down? I hate that, I hate feeling shamed and I hate feeling stupid.

I am pettily and vindictively vowing to never stick my nose in again anywhere trying to be "helpful". I guess my reactions may seem silly, but I think you would have to be me and walked in my shoes to know what I mean. I hate feeling like this, I am brought to tears by someone I have never even met in the flesh. ...

I mean, I know to an extent that certain boundaries have been broken down as of late; and I definitely cannot imagine my generation displaying some of the more useless signs of respect which are simply formalities. Sitting behind me at this very moment is ...

  5. Home again

Well, my family's back from San Diego. We had a really lovely time. Saturday night we played charades with two teams against one another and that was a scream. Highlights:

My team picked the art word "chiaroscuro" for one person from the other team to act out. The person picked to act it was my Mom and she had to have the term explained. She went berserk, trying to act it out. First, she mimed the word "key" and then somehow managed to get "aro" ...
