Wow, it's been two full months since I last wrote an entry in here! To say that I've been busy is an understatement. Let's see... I am involved in a complex upgrading of all our computers and computer systems (ongoing) and working a lot of overtime... I've been moving (packing, transporting, living around stuff, trying to unpack, trying to find specific things that are still packed, etc.)... and I've been away, with no access to a computer. (Huh? I just finished watching The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and I must admit tears streamed down my face when Boromir was shot and as he lay dying. Such nobility and courage and splendor! I miss that. The gentle wisdom of Gandalf. The humanity of Boromir. Aragorn buckling on Boromir's vambraces. The glory of Galadriel. We have a winged predator lurking around here. We discovered it this morning, feasting on something that must’ve been a carcass. I know it was a bird of prey. It’s beak was curved. I went out and shooed it away. We have lots of small birds and we suspect our robins have had chicks. I looked it up in the bird book and I think it was a sparrowhawk.
