  1. Dumped and Goodbye

Hey everybody!! I'm heading out tommorrow for MEXICO!!! I'm so excited! I probably won't have access to internet there...so I won't be on for a week or so. Just wanted to say goodbye...er talk to you later before I left.

Okay, now its time for less happy stuff and some funny stuff.

My friend is heading off to college next year. Well, he is doing Army ROTC. Anyways, he just called me to say that he got his dorm room. Its a suite, he got it since he doesn't have to ...

  2. Halfway to 100

by , 07-18-2007 at 04:53 PM (Captain Pike's Ship Log II)
The other day, little Mrs. wonderful and I got into a little squabble. She likes to watch that house flippers show, I don't know, it's on that HG TV channel, it has all kinds of tips on transforming a rundown old house into something freshly marketable, in today's fast-paced real estate market. Come Join Me In The Garden

Come join me in the garden
    where the voiceless faeries fly
    translucent wings glide freely
    'neath the cloudless Prairie sky

    Lush velvet leaves they whisper
    thanks to a gentle breeze
    our garden nook is sheltered
    by the steadfast healthy trees

Time is forced to cease its' rush,
    its' grip upon our soul
so we can freely focus on
the things that make us whole

  5. THE EGG CREAM

The Egg Cream is an item of fact and fancy in Brooklyn's proud and questionable history. Controversial in its origins and awe-inspiring in its appeal, this was the nectar (the elixir) of choice for all the lesser gods and goddesses of Brooklyn's less than green and pleasant land. From far and wide (and a few inches, diagonally, to the right), both young and old would partake of the Egg Cream's revitalizing enchantment; an exhiliration that was such to make all laugh and sing in gleeful merriment ...
