    Many non-Ahmadiyya guests attended the Jalsa. The guests were from all lifestyles. Ahmadiyya Khalifah (may Allah be his Helper) reminded good standards should always be maintained.

    I have been acquainted with runners for several decades, and I have found that they do not have the same personality (mentality) profile as the rest of humanity. It is easy to simply pass them off as endorphin addicts, but there seems to be an underlying reason why they require an increase in the amount of endorphins.     Sorry. Two blogs in one day. Or it might be two days. Kind of depends on what time zone you're in.
    I'm not trying to boost my numbers or anything. I gave up on that contest years ago. Although competing for most blog entries (without cheating and posting one every five minutes with nothing more to add) was kind of fun.

    I've been in a reflective mood. That's usually a gateway to a couple of days of sighing and not eating and sulking about the place, feeling tired all the time ...

  4. The Moviegoer

    Once upon a time ago, I was asked to share my thoughts on The Moviegoer when I got around to reading it. So I figured I would honor that request still though it has been some time ago.

    I was left with some very mixed feelings about this book. It did have a sort of Southern Gothic vibe to it (in my admittedly limited experience with that genre) and I tend to find that Southern Gothic is a genre that usually just doesn't really connect very well with me.
