I remember when I was a kid, the carnival would come to town. Or maybe they called it the circus, I don't know whether there was a distinction made or not. I remember feeding the elephants though. An elephant's trunk is an amazing thing; it has a fingerlike projection to help curl around food that the elephant wants to eat. If I held my hand out with a peanut in it, the elephant could sort of scoop up and vacuum in, this peanut and curl his trunk around, sending the peanut into his mouth. The ...

  3. Happy!

So, I just finished the last Harry Potter book day. That ending was....intense. Still it was pretty good. Anyways, one of my best friends is coming over to stay with me for a while and I'm really excited! She's great, and it's so fun to hang out with her. We're going to hang out at art museums and see movies and it's going to be great! I'm a bit happy in case you couldn't tell.

  5. Knife Party

This may be a surprise to some of the newer members but some of the aging blog readers here on LitNet will occasionally see my name and mumble drama queen. Perfectly understandable. The drama queen is a harsh mistress and demands her due.

What will be hard to believe for some is that I do know where the boundary lines are. As I have told my nephew Stephen I like to read Batman comics. I do not want to BE Batman. I wish he knew as much.

    This entry will cover ...
