WE'RE GONNA WIN EVERY GAME! ok, the mighty gers thumped Inverness Caley Thistle yesterday 3-0, 2 goals from captain fantastic (Barry Ferguson) and one from Nacho Novo (no, I dont know if he likes nachos). The hated Celtic were awful today, unable to find any real creativity and ended up in a boring 0-0 draw.

On a more depressing note, the "supporters" appear to have let us down somewhat with singing sectarian songs again. This is a problem we have had for years, the ...

  2. McSORLEY'S

One of the few (yet ever-threatened) establishments in New York City to have withstood and defied the winds of change for nearly 160 years is McSorley's Old Ale House. Located at 15 East 7th. I am currently sitting here typing while covered in particles of slimy washing machine soap, and my jeans are sopping in areas below my knees. If you cannot get the bed comforter ...

  5. Pools, Chefs etc.

The Prairies are certainly getting their fair share of this global warming, I must say. We have had very hot summer days going on now for about two weeks, with no end in sight. I am not complaining, mind you, because with the winters that I know are only around the proverbial corner, savor the heat whilst ye can!

BUT: it is getting very hot and dry, and for my birthday, I asked my hubby to get me a pool. No, not the in-ground variety (hmmm ... maybe next year, ha!), as our money ...
