First I’d like to give an update on my chickens. After the great chicken massacre I was left with two chicks I had hatched in an incubator, four hens and a rooster. One hen was hiding and came home four days after the slaughter. Two hens were setting- one is still but the other hid her nest in the yard and hatched her chicks which were all eaten by a snake. While I was away this weekend my husband got me seven more hens already laying. He’s so sweet! So I’m up to fourteen now. Not as many as I had, ...
