  1. Thank you so much.

by , 09-03-2007 at 03:04 PM (Captain Pike's Ship Log II)
You guys are so kind. I guess I feel safe talking about something very personal to me. There is something healing in communication between kindred spirits. Even though I don't know where most of you live, I am still able to feel vulnerable. Yet, even less-then-kind things said here, though rare, are said in earnest and in love. There is something very special about you folks -- you litneters, the finest place on the Internet.

    by , 09-02-2007 at 11:55 PM (I'm a Diced Tomato)
One of my friends died yesterday. I didn't know her very well, due to the fact she was 19 and she attended the local college and I don't.

She had cystic fibrosis. It killed her.

I met her in my sewing class last Spring semester. I remember she couldn't make it the last day for the end-of-the-semester party because one of her lungs collapsed and I felt really bad. I knew she wasn't going to live much longer.

    And the moon is light.
When fairies sing, and the fawns dance,
And th elves are dressed in white.
As the nymphs flutter in the trees
And the wind blows just a small breeze.

  4. A busy week

What a week I had. The whole week seemed crazy to me with having an extra child in the house. My son and niece are only 6 weeks apart, as I'm sure I've mentioned before. They are enough to make me grateful that I never had twins:D It was a good week, but I'm happy that my family left this morning. I have my house back, and I can relax a little. Entertaining for a whole week is exhausting. We went to the zoo, which is 2+ hours away. We went to parks and plenty of other things. I also went ...

  5. New years resolutions

by , 09-02-2007 at 04:53 PM (A Ramble through Smilie Land)
I know this may seem a bit early or way to late but I've always considered the whole idea a bit arbitrary . I mean why is January the first new years anyway just because some random bloke went oh yes that sounds like a good beginning start here. . Anyway since I started school at the age of 2 my years have always revolved around September. And hey the 3rd of September is the beginning of my year, the start of birthday ...
