This morning as I was walking to work (early due to the fact our Internet and thus our phones and computers and generally everything that keeps us going was down) I saw one of the saddest sights ever.... The one thing I wish I had was less distractions. I really value time to myself and this life is very complicated, I wish I could take it slower. My grandmother was a tiny frail woman. She was the wife of a fisherman, and worked hard all her life. My grandpa saw her at the dancehall up North, chewing on a candy apple, asked her for a bite, and the rest was history. How she loved to share that story. Today was a nice, and halfway productive day. I didn't get any cleaning finished. My dishes are still screaming for me to get to them. I've laundry that needs to be put away, more that needs to be folded, and even more that I need to run. I've neglected cleaning all week, and I've only seen to the bare minimum.
