    Finally I got the call. I've been sitting around waiting for some work to come up. Thats the way the new job goes. I'm on call for 5 weeks, and then I get 7 days off. I could work the entire 5 weeks, or just work for several days and then sit around waiting for more work. Its not as bad as it sounds, but it definitely isn't 14 days on and 14 days off like Alaska.

    I go in today to test the tools, inventory equipment, and check the computers. I don't know when the actual work ...

    what is on the mind? when i've studied buddhism, i've gone through a lot of its different philosophies. one concept i learned about at first was nirvana. it's interesting but as i studied different other things about it, i drifted to meditation, practice, the religion of it, the different schools, like zen or shin, and my efforts were very wide, but eventually you come back to the idea of the buddha. since the buddha is the unformed, everything formed is arising out of it. everything we see and ...
