It was back to work for me today, back to the old routine. This morning I felt the chill of autumn in the air, and the frost on my car confirmed that we are now officially in its grip. Strange, how the seasons change so quickly, and how these days only Spring and Autumn seem to have an identity unchanged from that of my childhood, while Summer and Winter converge in a mushy, non-descript blur. Perhaps it is a matter of expectation, but somehow Autumn seems familiar, and that familiarity is comforting. ...
Today was a busy and productive feeling day. I wrote a couple of pages in my story.
