So, Friday I went to my friend's funeral, and to be honest I'm still feeling a bit sad. Somehow I thought going to the funeral would make me feel better, and in part it did - the place was packed which was a fitting tribute to the kind of person my friend was. Still can't believe that he's gone, and I'm finding myself thinking about all the things I should have said and done, and the things that I shouldn't have done. So, today's word of the day is:

  3. She's Out

Here's an update on Mama. She's was discharged from the hopsital this afternoon and will be staying at my sisters for a while. I'm a little concerned that she will only be getting two weeks of therapy at home. Hopefully that will be enough.

  4. Signatures #2

Well, I found out that the page numbers won't change...so my expiriment is out the window. But it will be interesting to see what each person changes their signatures to.

This new rule, while I did follow it reluctantly, is a good one I believe. It will make scrolling through posts easier and quicker. Also I always believed the shorter the sweeter.

    Until next time,

  5. WHO SAID????

"Writing a long and substantial book is like having a friend and companion at your side, to whom you can always turn for comfort and amusement, and whose society becomes more attractive as a new and widening field of interest."
