    Easter: New Style

    T’was the Night Before Easter and in Bunnyville—
    That old Easter Bunny was feeling quite ill.
    His stomach was aching and so was his head—
    I tell you, he sure feel like staying in that bed.

    But he felt that he just had to deliver those eggs,
    So he stumbled up onto his wobbly legs;
    Shouldered his basket and set off up the lane—
    Although almost bent double from terrible pain.

    And I suppose that’s ...

    HE ESCAPED

    In the cold, grey dawn they buried him
    near the spot where he had died;

    absolute silence
    SCREAMS
    cold silence

    Silence, cold
    SCREAMS
    silence—absolute
    rustling, faint; squeaks door
    loneliness follows fear follows terror
    howls wolf, flutter bats
    blackness, thick,
    out go ...

  4. Children of the Moon

    I remember reading a week ago or so someone apologizing, more or less, since their blog hadn't been about literature they were reading, and instead about other things. If they apologize for that, then how much more superfluous is it to put an entire entry just for lyrics! So I must apologize profusely. Just wanted to share these, though. :)

  5. Odds and Ends

    The autopsy report on dispatch partner Bob came back. The good news was is that his deceased daughter-in-law was not making the rounds of doctors for prescriptions.

    She only needed the one.

    This particular doctor had basically had her on so many drugs that were handling so many different areas of her health that the functions basically caved in on her.

    No lawsuits or inquiries are being contemplated. BUT the coronor is sending a report to the Medical ...
