I've a friend now, who I love and have known for a couple of years. He makes me feel warm and loved. But over the last couple of days I've had doubts for some reason. I even began to get depressed over it, with the coupling of my friend and the cold, and I was dreading winter. But then I came back from his house tonight, and I felt so warm; true friendship.
I wasn't going to blog today, but I couldn't seem to resist. I was going to go work on chapter 11 of my story, but here I am blogging away while I enjoying my evening snack. I've been craving wine lately, merlot mostly, and I've been enjoying it with some smoked cheddar cheese, an apple, and salami rolls. So the motherboard (I almost typed "Mothersbaugh", ha ha) on my old computer died last weekend and that's why I haven't been online in a while. The memory is still there, but the computer itself won't turn on. Dad bought a new computer, and I'm using it. It's all fancy pants Windows Vista. Really pretty. Today has been kinda odd for me. I have been awake since 6:00 am and I have to work from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am in the morning. I've just been taking it easy, playing with Mason and Max and now the other grandkids. We've watched cartoon, played with the train sets and Hot Wheel cars, had lunch and a nap, called Poppy, and played some more.
