Well, I just finished this book last night, it was my first by M. Kundera. I cannot say enough praise for it, I think it's very profound. It thoroughly struck me. But then, it's my first book to read by him. 51 short chapters, 168 pages. I read it all in one day...I think that was yesterday. Yesterday my two year old son came in to the bathroom while I was on the pot and clapped his hands and cheered for me. I felt like I was the best pee-er that ever pee-ed! I really did a great job guys! It's so nice to ge really good at something.
[I]I beat it out... writer's block that is. I've been having more trouble writing this chapter than what I seemed to think I should. I must have rejected ten different drafts before I finally wrote this. I hope you enjoy it, because it was a bear to write. I'm hoping the next chapter will not be as difficult, but I find I'm writing much more carefully. I read the Dayton Daily each day picking and choosing which articles to read. Takes about 20 minutes, 30 if there is some such of sports scnadal to gloat over.
