Has it really been a whole week again? Man I am getting lazy. Well, a few things have happened. I’ve watched more anime, had no lessons this week so I should’ve been using it to do my work, I have to fill in a notebook with all the stuff I’ve been doing in creative writing. I should’ve been doing it as I went along but I didn’t so now I’ve got to get it done before Wednesday, six weeks worth of work and all the homework I didn’t do. This is my 10th day on Chantix. I haven't stopped smoking but I gave it two weeks to kick in. My quit date is next Tuesday. I can see some difference. I forget to smoke when I'm doing something I where I usually smoke. I forget to smoke on lunch break! Instead of two packs every day and a half, a pack lasts me almost two days. I will light one and then put it out. I seem to think about if all the time unless I stay busy, which I do most of the time. Anyway, keep your fingers crossed. We'll see what ...

Before Halloween our choir director makes sure we have our Christmas cantata music in hand. He also provides us with a practice CD of our part so I am always singing Christmas music at Halloween.
I get to sing the O Holy Night solo in the last movement and there are also two nice descants. This is the first year in many that we will sing sans orchestra. We have a fabulous organist though.

A rose among the snow
last fading rebel
still holding on
