  1. The death of some one I knew...

So I found out this week about this guy I used to know committing suicide. He hung himself in the storage unit for Shakespeare at Play and the ballet company. I can't say we were friends so to speak, but we certainly knew each other. I played his wife once in Murder Mystery Dinner, and I saw him at all the S@P performances where we would usually talk for a bit. Despite the tragedy of the incident, it wasn't really a surprise to anyone. He had a drinking problem and had attempted to off himself before. ...

  2. A Late Epiphany

Tonight God let me know something as I was rushing out the door with all my things in hand - trying to get out before the future in laws caught the tears in my eyes. I learned that it is not within my right to try and change someone I love, to think I can change someone, or to hope that because that person loves me...ingrained beliefs and feelings he has carried for years will suddenly change. 5. An Ancedote of Old Age

Wait for it, Rich. There's a story coming - no poetry today!

Background: I lurk on several sites to monitor Orlando gossip / catch photos. Many members are younger than I am, and have suggested that "after 30 people lose their looks" (this is why, for instance, Orlando isn't as pretty as he once was. It has nothing to do with smoking, drinking too much, staying out all night, and rivaling Bryon in his erotic habits).

Needless to say, I am amused by their ...
